Pineapple Nut Bread

1 cup nuts
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. grated lemon peel
2 1/2 cups flour
2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. soda
1/4 t. salt
1 8 1/4 oz. can crushed pineapple
1/4 cup skim milk

Cream margarine with sugar, egg, vanilla
and lemon peel until light and fluffy.

Combine flour, baking powder, soda and
salt. 

Blend into creamed mixture
allternatley with undrained pineapple 
and milk, add nuts. Bake 9x5 loaf pan
350" 60 min.
