Pam's stuffed french toast

Combine:
8 oz. cream cheese softened
1 t. vanilla
Beat until fluffy,add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.
1 16oz. loaf French bread cut into 1 1/2
inch slices with pocket. Fill each pocket with 1 1/2 T. cheese mix.
Beat together:
4 eggs
1 cup whipping cream

1/2 t. vanilla
1/2 t. nutmeg
Dip bread into mix and fry on buttered grill.
Apricot Syrup:
12 oz. jar of apricot preserves
1/2 cup orange juice
Heat together and serve with Stuffed French Toast. Double for 6 servings.
