Pam's french apple pie

Crust:
1 1/3 cup flour
1/2 t salt
1/2 cup shortening
3-4 T. water
Filling:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 t. nutmeg
1 t. cinnamon
dash of salt
8 cups apples
Topping:
1 1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup hard butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
Mix flour and brown sugar, cut in butter
Sprinkle on top of apple filling. Bake
425" 40-50 min. Bake 20 min. uncovered,
put foil tent on for remainder.
