2 cups water
2 cups diced potatoes
1/2 cup diced carrots
1/2 cup diced celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
White Sauce:
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup cubed ham
Combine water, potatoes, carrots,celery, onions, salt and pepper in large kettle.
Boil 10 to 12 min. Meamwhile in small saucepan make white sauce by melting butter, add flour and stir until smooth.
(1 min.) Slowly add milk. cook until thickened. Add grated cheese to white sauce until melted. Add white sauceand ham to vegetables undrained.
