Apple Crisp
4 cups diced, pared tart apples (4 lbs.)
2/3 to 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup oats
3/4 t. cinnamon
3/4 t. nutmeg
1/3 cup butter softened.
Place apple slices in 8x8 pan, mix remaining ingredients well. Sprinkle over apples. Bake 375" 25-30 min.
Serve warm with cream or ice cream.
